Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal

Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal

Today is the day of the Bead Soup Blog Party Reveal.
My bead soup blog partner Kim Hora of http://www.kimmykats.com/ sent me a soup mix with pottery beads and amazonite and tigers eye and glass beads and a handmade clasp and toggle clasp. She also sent me one of her necklaces made from silverware.  Be sure and check out here Etsy shop for her necklaces made from silverware. Kim's Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/kimmykats.  Here is the picture of what she sent me.

Now for the REVEAL!

I made this necklace using the pottery bead and pottery clasp/focal. I used some of the amazonite beads and glass beads that Kim sent me and then added some green stick pearls and fancy jasper beads. The necklace connects in the front with the handmade made clasp. The necklace measure 22" long and hooks in the front. I think the picture in on the white background shows the colors better.

The earrings are made by me using sterling silver filled wire that has been hammered into a stick and I wrapped the amazonite beads and tigers eye beads sent to me by Kim onto the sticks. I oxidized the earrings to match the clasp. The earrings measure 2 1/4" long, and have 10mm round amazonite and 8mm round tigers eye.

Be sure and check out Kim's blog:
http://www.kimmykats.com/ and check out watch she made with the soup I sent her.

Also be sure and Check out the Bead Soup Blog Party website for a complete list of all participants in the first reveal.
