I listed 2 new necklaces on etsy. 1 is southwestern inspired and features my lampwork pendant. The other has autumn jasper and red aventurine and has a metalsmithed pendant made by me.

Sorry for the Delay!

Life seems to take a lot of unexpected turns. So I have been a little off in creating jewelry and lampwork beads and blogging. My goal this year has been to blog more, so far that hasn't happened. I am working on try to get my life stable and create more jewelry and beads. I have managed to get a few earrings made and listed. I listed them in my etsy shop. They are made from copper and gemstones and pearls. They are all lightweight.

New Lampwork Focals!

After a long break from making lampwork beads, I recently have been able to make more focals. It has taken me a little bit to get back into the swing of things. (many broken beads). But I am now able to start offering more for sale. They are great additions to any jewelry project.

Carrizo Plains National Monument

I went to the Carrizo Plains this Sunday. We actually took the drive out there to see the wildflowers. There were plenty of wildflowers due to all the rain. It was a cloudy and windy day, but still was great to go see wildflowers. These 2 pictures I took up above the plains, in 1 of the pictures you can actually see soda lake. Just to remind me that Spring is actually coming I saw a snake, and I hate snakes. Thankfully my dogs did not see it, even though it was dead

The first pair of earrings are made from blue
lace agate and blue aventurine, very denim
friendly. The necklace is made from fiery cherry
quartz and red labordorite. I love this combination
together.

I got some new earrings listed today! They are all new styles.
I really like the pair with the green and blue turquoise. They
are nice and feminine, and Turquoise is supposed to be the
hot color this year. The other three are a new style also, some
are made with hearts and one has swirls on the bottom. All are
nice and lightweight and oxidized.

New Earrings Listed!

Part of of my new goals for this year is to get more jewelry listed. I decided
I need to start using this huge stash of beads that I have. You know the stash
where you don't have enough for a large project. So I decided to make some
simple hoop earrings with some drops. I made some from sterling silver
and some from copper. I oxidized all of them. Go and check them out

New Year!

First of all let me say Happy New Year to All!!
Second you know when you set a goal to blog regularly and
make more lampwork beads and jewelry but life gets in the way?
Well that is how the past year has been going. We are the
people you hear about who have lost their jobs and then have to
sell the houses as well. It has been a painful and humbling experience.
Enough of the pity party for me!
My goal for this year is to get my business and my husband's business to
expand and grow. And to blog regularly and get my jewelry done.
Now that we have moved I will have more time to devote to marketing.
So be on the look out for new designs. I have a lot of ideas!
