New Earrings Listed

I finally have some new earrings to show.

These earrings are made from copper disc's that I hammered and wire wrapped so I could add the bead drop. I really am liking the circle style of these earrings. They first ones have dalmation jasper and the second ones have rose quartz.  They both have been lightly oxidized.

They are both listed in my etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/lauriesjewelbox?ref=si_shop.
Be sure and check them out.

I love these earrings--the metal, wirewrapping, stones!

I did an entry on my blog last year...when I barely knew what I was talking about..ha!.. and we discussed various approaches to oxidating metals, copper in particular. I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm curious to know if you use liver of sulfur or a different process. I love how yours maintains a bit of a glow without the metal going completely dark!

Lovely earrings!

Hi, I use gel liver of sulfur. I like the gel better than the chunks. I get more consitant results.
